ABOUT US

  • Co-Founder | Potter & The Clay Coffee

Hi, I’m Casey! I am the co-founder of Potter & The Clay Coffee, where we believe coffee is more than just a drink—it’s an opportunity for community, relationships, and discipleship.

During my time at California Baptist University, I found myself immersed in a culture that valued not only a great cup of coffee but also meaningful connections. Many of my closest relationships were formed while studying or spending time in local Riverside coffee shops, where conversation flowed as easily as the espresso.

Coffee has also been a powerful reminder of my journey as a disciple of Jesus. Some of the most transformative moments in my faith have happened over a simple morning cup of coffee with a mentor.

At Potter & The Clay, our mission is to create a space where people can gather, build genuine relationships, and grow in their faith. My hope is that every cup we serve inspires connection and draws people closer to their Creator.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
    – Proverbs 3:5-6

  • Founder | Potter & The Clay Coffee

Hi, I’m Ian! I started Potter & The Clay Coffee as an entrepreneurship project during my senior year of college, and over the past two years, it has grown into a full-fledged coffee company. What began as a school project has become a passion-driven business that I’m excited to share with the East Bay community.

My love for coffee goes beyond crafting the perfect espresso—it’s about fostering community, conversation, and faith. While studying in Southern California, I was immersed in a thriving coffee culture where some of my most meaningful moments happened over a cup of coffee. Whether working on projects or having deep conversations, coffee shops became a space for connection and growth. My goal is to bring that same sense of fellowship to others.

At Potter & The Clay, we believe coffee is more than a drink—it’s an opportunity to share stories, build relationships, and reflect the love of God. My team and I are honored to serve you and look forward to bringing people together, one cup at a time.

“You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.” – Job 10:12

“And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you are the potter. We are all formed by your hands.”– Isaiah 64:8
